Trial with Tottenham Hotspurs - updated 2010-04-12
Michael Camilleri, Birkirkara FC Youth Nursery youngster has been invited for a
one week trial at Tottenham Hotspurs Academy this week. The Under 17
international and Birkirkara captain will be undergoing a serious of training
session at The Spurs Lodge in Chigwell, London during the week where he will be
assessed by a number of professional UK coaches including formerly ex-Naxxar
foreign player/coach Chris Ramsey who is presently employed there.
During this season, Birkirkara first team coach Paul Zammit has even given him
the opportunity to make his debut in the Maltese Premier league by introducing
him in the last ten minutes of the game against Qormi in December 2009.
Michael Camilleri will be returning to Malta next Sunday.
